Probably the 1st time in Chess History, a Father and Son battling their wits for a Noble cause and all games will be played with the True Spirit of the Game.
If you visit the above link, you can see the Temple Construction is almost complete with an expense touching close to Rs.20 lakhs and everyone is gearing towards the next steps of Pratishta and Pooja expecting 4-5 Lakhs with a further monthly expense of Rs.20,000+ . Shiva - Dad
The challenger and a rear occasion feeling not a Favorite not playing professional Chess over an year now. Chess is a sport where experience with aging is over taken by young and gearing brains.
Anirud - Son
The Achiever, favourite to win the Panga and @15 years had quite a bit of success topping all. He won the MCC championship last year and his name is engraved in the Trophy along with yearly winners for the last 50 years. Story on Anirud's success can be found at Community website here

Feb26: The last 6 rounds of the Super Final was well fought and close games but Anirud came out as a winner with 56 to 34 points.
There were no correct predictions and as of Feb 26th, Rs 61,560.28 was received and transferred to Temple Account. Details with Transfer screenshot are placed in the excel in above Contributors List. Feb25: The 3rd Final was a positive one for Shiva and a great come back. However, Anirud still leads with 36 points to 24
The games was well fought and close ones. There is a lot to look for in the last 6 rounds with 30 points at stake.

Feb19: After the 2nd Final, Anirud is Leading by 26 points to 4.
To be honest, no excuse to losing this bad. Was left wanting of time which stopped to cross the line few times. Need to gear up for the Super Finals. Need to fight back hard ..
Feb18:After the 1st Final, Anirud Leads with 5 Points to 1
The games went on well and were close ones. The lopsided score doesn't depict the exact contest and Shiva seems to have an Off day. Hope to come back strongly tomorrow with the stakes being higher. Anirud maintained his cool when needed and fully deserves all the Kudos for the 1st Final
